What have I forgotten that affects you greatly?
Do you think the FDA is doing its job?
The 'funny' thing is, or rather 'unfunny', organic products incorporate these 'chemiclas' into their products. Just because the aloe Vera, lemon, lime, pomegranate is grown organically and is made into shampoo, bath gels, body creams...etc, it can be automatically labelled organic. When these fruits/vegetables are added to SLS, turpentine ... etc, are they considered ORGANIC anymore? I mean what's the point of not using insecticides and pesticides while growing them and THEN adding all sorts of chemicals to produce beauty products? An irony isnt't it?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. It's that "false advertising" scam going on and one needs to really question each and every product. They don't make it easy on us! But I think that's the point - chemical companies just want us to spend money - they don't care how dishonest they have to be to get it. "Organic" also is the new sales gimmick, too, much like "Natural" used to be, so one needs to be very wary. This is one example of how the FDA fails consumers.
